  • After Mohs resection of cutaneous neoplasm

  • After reconstruction - a bilobed flap (local tissue advancement/rearrangement technique) was used to repair this defect and this is an early (1-2 week after) result

  • 1 week after 1st stage reconstruction - sutures are removed but the internal nasal splint is still in place to support the nostril and the yellow xeroform gauze is to keep the cheek flap pedicle moisturized and protected

  • 2nd stage surgery is pedicle division (the internal septal flap and the external cheek flap), which typically happens about 3 weeks after the first stage

  • 1 week after 2nd stage surgery - external sutures at the nose and cheek are removed

  • 6 weeks after 2nd stage surgery

  • 6 weeks after reconstruction
